Habs Coaches, Offence, Bergevin, Bryzgalov and More

Ilya Bryzgalov - New Jersey Devils v Philadelphia Flyers - Game Five
Good AM Hab fans!

Our staff here has become suddenly prolific, with three new, excellent pieces for your reading pleasure. As always, you will find the links below.

Elsewhere, the Philadelphia Flyers were eliminated by the New Jersey Devils last night. For once, this is a prediction I got right, but I certainly never expected the series to be so expedient.

While it is popular to ladle blame on Ilya Bryzgalov — and he deserves plenty of it — it should be noted that the Flyers defence was also quite inept at times.

I mean, Kimmo Timmonen passing the puck to Bryzgalov was not especially genius, now was it?

Overall, the Broadstreet Bullies have the second most giveaways in the post-season and also rank in the bottom-five for penalty killing and shots against. However, what is most telling is their inability to protect a lead.

The Flyers are a shocking 1-6 when scoring first.
